Item Tagging & Preparation:

Review What Items We Accept & Do Not Accept

All items must be in excellent condition; clean/no stains, in working order, and must meet current safety standards.  All Consignors are responsible to check the CPSC database to ensure the items they are selling have not been recalled and meet current safety standards.

Pricing Instructions:

· You set the price; minimum price is $1, increments of $ .50 thereafter

· Like items (multiple onesies) or an outfit (shirt & pants) can be grouped together but they must be the SAME size.  (Multiple clothing items sold together must be on wire hanger—NO clothes in Ziploc bags)

· Non-Clothing items such as books and toys can also be grouped together but must be similar (same age range, theme/series or reading level etc.)

Our Pricing Recommendations:

· Price 25% to 30% of the original price.  ’New’ items can be priced higher, up to 50% of original price. (recommendations only, you set the price! See our Guidelines)

Other Pricing Notes:

· Items not priced in $ .50 increments will be sold at the closest lower $ .50 increment.  (so for example, if an item is tagged at $2.89, it will be sold at $2.50)

· Please note that we cannot sell an item if the price has been altered with pen.  Therefore, prices cannot be adjusted at the sale.

· If you opt to donate the item, we recommend to also choose to ‘Discount’ your item 1/2 price for the discount hour (last hour of the sale)

Tag Printing:

· Print your tags on sheets of white card stock (65 lb paper is recommended). (You can buy many places i.e. Staples.(available in packs or by the sheet at the copy center.)  Multiple tags will print on one sheet and you cut them apart.  Card stock is necessary so the tags don’t rip off.  (no tags printed on regular paper will be accepted because they will likely become separated from your item during the sale)

Securing Tags & Tagging Location:

For Clothes:

· Use safety pins (no straight pins or staples) OR use a tagging gun

· Tags should be affixed to the upper right of the clothing item when looking at the garment laying flat.  When tagging delicates like bathing suits, silk etc please be sure to tag  a seam or inside neck label so the fabric isn’t damaged.  If you use a tagging gun, always tag through a seam on the right side.

· For Toys:  Tags can usually be taped on with clear packing tape. It is a good idea to ALSO put a piece of tape on the bottom and write your consignor # and price just in case the tag gets separated from the toy.  If there are any smaller parts that go with the toy, these should be put inside a gallon zip bag, TAPED SHUT with Clear Packing Tape, and affixed with clear packing tape to the main toy.  Note your consignor # and what toy it goes with just in case it gets separated.

· For Books:  Books grouped together can be put inside a gallon zip bag, TAPED SHUT with clear packing tape, (like reading levels should be grouped together or books from a series can be grouped together if you wish). Tag should be affixed to outside of gallon bag with Clear Packing Tape (only 1 tag per grouping of items)

· For Books sold alone (unbagged), tape the tag to the BACK cover with REGULAR scotch tape and only tape 2 sides of the tag so the tag can be removed without damaging the book.

· For Games & Puzzles:   Tape ALL sides of the box with clear packing tape so the box cannot open accidentally.
