Volunteer

Volunteer:

To receive volunteer benefits, you must register on the website as a volunteer.

Shop Early: Volunteers who fulfill one shift will receive a pass to shop at the Pre-Sale on Friday*. (*Volunteers who are not consignors will need to provide a $30 cash deposit at the pre-sale Friday and this will be returned upon completion of the volunteer shift.) Volunteer pass is good for the volunteer (plus their spouse or parent.) Any other guest will require their own ‘shop early’ pass to be fair.

Consignors Can Earn from 65% to 72% for Volunteering. Consignors can get credit for up to 2 shifts with no overlap. (must sign up to volunteer on the website to receive credit)

· 4 hour shift = earn additional 5 %

· Resort Shift = earn additional 7%!

· Please note: Spouse who volunteer for a shift will be credited to the consignor! Strong people needed for “set up” on Friday

Volunteer responsibilities will vary by shift and day. Volunteers will be assigned a particular role when they arrive for their shift.

Below are some of the volunteer jobs.

Friday volunteers:

· Organization & Set Up (racks & tables)

· Check-in & Inspection of Items Being Dropped Off

· Assisting Consignors in Placing Their Items on the Sales Floor

Saturday volunteers:

· Keeping Sales Floor Organized & Straightening Racks

· Re-Sorting Non-Donated Items for Pick-Up

· Cleaning Up & Breaking Down of Tables/Racks

In the event a volunteer is not able to fulfill their slot, we must be notified by March 16th. Volunteers who cancel after this date, are responsible for finding a replacement.

We rely on our volunteers to help the sale run smoothly and provide a pleasant shopping experience. We are sorry children cannot be brought to a volunteer shift. Thank you in advance for volunteering!
